Prof. Ovchinnikov is one of the leading Russian specialists in the field of endoscopy. After graduating from the Moscow Medical University, he followed postgraduate training in prestigious medical academies, notably in Germany (training in bronchoscopy), the USA (training in broncho-pulmonology), France (training in bronchoscopy and thoracoscopy) and Austria (endo-laser surgery).
Prof. Ovchinnikov has more than 40 years of practice. For many years, he has been a consultant at the Central Clinical Hospital and at the President’s Central Clinic in Moscow.
Member of the Governing Council of the International Broncho-Esophagological Association, of the European Respiratory Society, corresponding member of the American Broncho-Esophagological Association, a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. He created the EMC endoscopic department at the opening of our new clinic in 2002.
